Junior Cricket

Waikato Valley Junior Cricket is coordinated by a Junior Advisory Board (JAB) responsible for the growth and development of the game in our region. Waikato Valley Junior Cricket covers a large geographic area. Accordingly, at Junior level because of huge playing numbers and large distances, Waikato Valley is split into two regions, Waikato Valley Plains and Waikato Valley South.

Each area (Waikato Valley Plains and Waikato Valley South) has rep teams in each age group, including Secindary Girls, Primary Boys, Junior Secondary Boys, Senior Seconday Boys and Under 19 Boys. The Waikato Valley Secondary School Girls team competes as a combined team.

Each side competes at the annual fixtures and tournaments run by Northern Districts Cricket, who is affiliated to New Zealand Cricket.
